The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to The Empire State on Saturday with UFC on Fox 25 at the newly renovated Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. The fighters who participated brought with them a wide array of musical tastes.
Former middleweight champion Chris Weidman entered the main event on a three-fight losing streak and hoped to change his fortunes against Kelvin Gastelum. The “All-American” did not alter his pre-fight routine, as he chose Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” to bring him to the Octagon. Gastelum settled on Marc Anthony’s “Aguanile” ahead of the five-round headliner.
