The Walkmen: UFC on Fox 23

The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Saturday returned to the city where it all began in 1993: Denver. UFC on Fox 23 provided scintillating action at the Pepsi Center, with super submissions and wicked knockouts. The soundtrack to the event took on a personality all its own.

American Top Team’s Jorge Masvidal walked to the cage to Giorgio Moroder’s “Scarface Theme Song” ahead of his showdown with Donald Cerrone in the co-main event. Cerrone went with his customary entrance song, as Kid Rock’s “Cowboy” trumpeted his arrival.

Other standout tracks included Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man” (Bobby Nash), 50 Cent’s “Many Men” (Alexandre Pantoja), Pennywise’s “Bro Hymn” (Eric Spicely), George Thorogood and The Destroyers’ “Bad to the Bone” (Jordan Johnson), 2Pac’s “Ballad of a Dead Soulja” (Jason Gonzalez), Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” (Eric Shelton), Cole Swindell’s “You Should Be Here” (Jason Knight) and Train’s “Hey Soul Sister” (Sam Alvey).
