UFC 207 marked the return of Ronda Rousey. Aside from her electrifying entrance, it did not go well for the former Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s bantamweight titleholder.
Rousey succumbed to the savagery of reigning champion Amanda Nunes in the main event on Friday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the Brazilian bringing it to a close with punches 48 seconds into Round 1. Rihanna’s “American Oxygen” brought Nunes to the cage, while Rousey went with her customary track -- Joan Jett and The Blackhearts’ “Bad Reputation” -- ahead of her first appearance in more than a year.
