The Nevada Athletic Commission has released the disclosed salaries for all of the athletes who competed in Saturday’s “The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale” event.
As expected, reigning UFC flyweight king Demetrious Johnson (pictured) was the card’s highest earner … by a mile.
Johnson pocketed a flat $350,000 salary for beating a surprisingly game Tim Elliot in the show’s featured attraction. Elliot, who won the TUF 24 tournament to get a crack at Johnson, scored $100,000 for his troubles.
Former flyweight top contender Joseph Benavidez was the night’s second-highest paid fighter, making $140,000, with half of his paycheck coming via win bonus, for his controversial split decision win over Henry Cejudo in the co-main event.
