It’s a bad card, folks. Partially that’s by happenstance, but mostly it’s by design. The UFC has been running at a breakneck speed since their return from a brief, COVID-induced hiatus this spring. Following that unexpected break in the schedule, the promotion has only gone two weeks total without an event, a pace that won’t let up until their final fight card of the year, on December 19th. Shockingly, the new main event – between Paul Felder and Rafael dos Anjos – promises a much more interesting clash of styles than the previous Makhachev/RDA bout. Outside that fight, however, this is a card booked just to fill air space and move on to next week’s PPV.
