Bellator had a pretty fun looking card set for this Friday night in Thackerville, Oklahoma. At least it was until the weigh-ins happened. Bad misses by Mike Rhodes and Joe Taimanglo prompted the promotion to scrap their main card opener and co-main event. Francisco Gonzalez coming in 4 pounds overweight and his opponent Brandon Girtz coming in 5 lbs under makes for a strange welterweight spectacle. And A late injury to Wayman Carter means that even Rafael Lovato Jr.’s new maincard slot has a feeling of meaningless to it. The best laid plans... Still, Coenen vs. Budd should be fun.
