At Bellator 250, Gegard Mousasi became the first man to win the Bellator MMA middleweight title more than once.
With a clear-cut decision win over welterweight champ Douglas Lima last Thursday, Mousasi has his belt back, along with that little historical distinction. While “The Dreamcatcher” would probably prefer not to have lost the belt in the first place, he can now turn his attention to the crop of contenders that has been waiting since he was defeated last June by Rafael Lovato Jr. However, one challenger who will not be in the queue is Lovato Jr.
