Joanna Jedrzejczyk is targeting a fight against the winner of Weili Zhang vs. Rose Namajunas in her return to the cage.
Jedrzejczyk (16-4) hasn’t fought since losing a split decision to Zhang at UFC 248 in March 2020. The fight was 2020’s Fight of the Year and is widely considered the greatest fight in women’s MMA history.
The former strawweight champion Jedrzejczyk called for a ‘bigger piece of the cake’ from the UFC earlier this year and said she isn’t interested in fighting without fans in attendance. However, talking recently to MMA Fighting it seems Jedrzejczyk has changed her tone on a UFC return.
