The first fight between the two went Torres’s way, utilizing a lot of clinch work to earn a unanimous decision victory. Since then, however, their careers have gone in different directions. Once considered a viable top contender at flyweight, Torres recently rebounded from a four-fight skid with a unanimous decision win over Brianna van Buren.
