On the same night that his rematch with Conor McGregor was officially announced, Nate Diaz got into an altercation backstage with Clay Guida’s brother.
Emotions were running high after Guida suffered a third-round knockout loss to Brian Ortega in a preliminary featherweight bout at UFC 199 at the Forum in Los Angeles last weekend. Team Alpha Male coach Justin Buchholz, who was cornering Clay Guida that night, noticed that Jason Guida was extremely upset shortly after the bout’s conclusion.
“I turn around and one of the UFC stools, they have like four stools back there, was just shattered in like six pieces,” Buchholz said on the Stud Show Radio Podcast.
