Felipe Pena reminded the grappling world how dangerous of a competitor he is, as he submitted multiple-time EBI champion, Gordon Ryan. Studio 540, in conjunction with FloGrappling, presented a series of super fights featuring three Danaher Death Squad members in compelling matches. At the end of the day the team would go 1-2 at the event in matches that were high-paced from the very start.
Pena and Ryan got off to a fast start in their much anticipated contest. Both men went for multiple attacks before Pena found a way to Ryan’s back; locking in the fight-ending submission.
