Bellator MMA pulled in record ratings with last Friday’s Bellator 149.
Spike TV, which broadcast the Feb. 19 event from Toyota Center in Houston, announced on Monday that the three-hour fight card averaged 2 million viewers, making it the most watched show in Bellator history.
According to Spike, ratings for the show peaked at 2.5 million viewers during the heavyweight co-main event between former street fighters Kimbo Slice and Dhafir “Dada 5000” Harris. The popular Slice has been a ratings boon for the organization, having helped set its previous ratings record with 1.
