Paddy Pimblett’s recently revealed that he brought a hand injury into his lightweight title showdown with Soren Bak and suggested that had he not been injured, he may have been able to finish a rear-naked choke he established in the first round of their clash in Liverpool, England.
The Liverpudlian was forced from a fight at Cage Warriors 100 due to the same injury and is due to go under the knife next month with the hope of resolving the reoccurring hand issue.
Bak went on to claim the lightweight title via unanimous decision after taking control of the fight from the second round.
