The broadcast team for the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight will include recently-hired Bellator MMA commentator Mauro Ranallo.
Showtime Boxing revealed the broadcast team for the upcoming boxing superfight via Sporting News on Friday. In addition to Ranallo, Brian Custer (host), Al Bernstein (color analyst), Paul Malianaggi (color analyst), Jim Gray (ringside reporter) and Steve Farhood (unofficial scorer) will cover the bout.
Before Friday’s announcement there was some doubt surrounding Ranallo’s inclusion after the veteran broadcaster sign a multi-event deal with Bellator. McGregor, of course, is the UFC’s biggest star and promotion head Dana White was heavily involved in negotiations to put the bout together.
