This Saturday night, boxing kicks off the new year with a high quality fight on Showtime. Saturday’s Showtime Championship Boxing event is headlined by a Super Middleweight world title clash as Badou Jack (20-1-2; 12 KO) takes on James DeGale (23-1; 14 KO).
Jack vs. DeGale is as well-matched a fight as you can ask for. The two men are ranked #1 and #2 at 168 pounds, and both have been primarily fighting solid opposition lately. Showtime set this fight up with a mini tournament last year, and it’s good to see it actually pay off now.
