Mauricio "Shogun" Rua will look to continue his career resurgence later this year in Brazil.
According to multiple sources, the UFC is currently working towards booking Rua vs. Gian Villante for the March 11 UFC Fight Night event in Fortaleza, Brazil.
Rua (24-10) is coming off wins over Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at UFC 190 and Corey Anderson at UFC 198. Both those fights took place in his home country of Brazil. The last time Rua, 35, won three fights in a row was Dec. 2006 when he defeated Kazuhiro Nakamura, and he eventually extended that streak to four with a Feb.
