Shinya Aoki not afraid to test his Muay Thai skills against 'strong' Koji Ando on May 22

It's a good time to be Shinya Aoki.

The 32-year-old fighter hasn't lost a bout in three years and has submitted his last three opponents in the opening round, with the most recent win coming courtesy of a twister less than 90 seconds into his IGF bout against Yuki Yamamoto back on New Year's Eve.

Next Friday night (May 22, 2015), Aoki (37-6-0-1) faces a much higher-caliber opponent in the shape of Japanese lightweight Koji Ando, in a contest which will have his ONE Championship 155-pound title on the line. It will be his fourth fight at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and the "Tobikan Judan" is excited about taking on the top contender in the division.
