After her run to the finals in the Mae Young Classic, it was pretty much a given that former MMA fighter and Josh Barnett disciple Shayna Baszler was going to be offered a WWE contract. Today, they officially announced that Baszler has started at the Performance Center in Florida. Baszler took to Twitter to post the WWE’s article about it:
She is also quoted in the article, clearly in character already:
“I’m looking forward to getting out there and twisting limbs off and breaking bodies. I can't wait.”
She will likely start out in NXT, which basically serves as the farm team for the WWE main roster.
