Sean Woodson calls out Josh Culibao after UFC Vegas 28 win

After nearly a year away, Sean Woodson admits that ring rust is indeed real.

Woodson returned to the octagon earlier this month and picked up a split decision win over Youssef Zalal at UFC Vegas 28. The event took place at the UFC APEX with the featherweight bout taking place on the prelims.

“The Sniper” was able to bounce back in the win column after suffering a third-round submission loss to Julian Erosa at UFC on ESPN 12 in June 2020.

In an exclusive interview with MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck, Woodson discussed bouncing back from his first career loss, not being happy with his performance, why Zalal shouldn’t be overly upset about the decision, what he took away from his submission loss to Julian Erosa, having a year layoff and ring rust being a real thing, not having James Krause in his corner for this fight, hoping to get back in as soon as possible, and wanting to fight Josh Culibao next.
