Sean Strickland will finally re-enter the UFC cage on Oct. 31 as he battles Brazilian middleweight Wellington Turman in Las Vegas, N.V., sources told MMA Fighting. Combate first reported the matchup.
Strickland (20-3) hasn’t fought since a second-round stoppage victory over Nordine Taleb on Oct. 2018. “Tarzan” suffered a motorcycle accident two months later, which forced him to go under the knife for a knee surgery. At the time, Strickland expected to “be back at it in a few months,” but his road was much longer.
