Santiago Ponzinibbio calls out Anthony Pettis: ‘Come get this beating’

Anthony Pettis made some noise in his 170-pound debut, knocking out former title contender Stephen Thompson.

“Showtime” stopped “Wonderboy” with a spectacular superman punch in the main event of UFC Nashville in March, getting back in the winning column five months after losing to Tony Ferguson at UFC 229.

Ponzinibbio, on the other hand, is currently riding a seven-fight winning streak that includes wins over Neil Magny, Mike Perry and Gunnar Nelson.

The Argentine fighter was originally targeting fights with Rafael dos Anjos and Tyron Woodley, but both former champions were matched up against Kevin Lee and Robbie Lawler instead.
