Coming off of three consecutive UFC wins, Northcutt’s first fight for his new promotion will take place against kickboxing specialist Cosmo Alexandre — also making his ONE debut — at an event in Singapore on May 17. Northcutt, 22, announced the news at a ONE media gathering in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The bout will be contested at welterweight, making it a 185-pound bout under ONE’s weight classifications.
Northcutt (11-2) was not re-signed by the UFC following his most recent appearance last July, a second-round knockout win over Zak Ottow at 170 pounds. He won six of his eight fights inside the Octagon.
