Sabina Mazo will soon enter the LFA cage as a champion for the very first time in her career.
The Colombian fighter has been scheduled to defend her women’s flyweight title against Jaimee Nievera in the main event of LFA 51, which is set to go down on Sept. 28 at the Selland Arena in Fresno, Calif. This will be the first time a women’s bout headlines an LFA card.
The news of the booking was recently announced by the promotion.
Mazo captured the vacant women’s flyweight belt, previously held by current UFC fighter Andrea Lee, last April with a unanimous decision win over Shannon Sinn.
