Former UFC light heavyweight Ryan Jimmo has never been one to mince words when it comes to the sport of MMA and the ongoings behind the scenes. Even while employed by the company, he was calling for fighters to step up and speak up for themselves.
Jimmo once again let his feelings be known. This time not as an employee of the UFC, but as an outsider. Just one day prior to UFC 192, Johny Hendricks was forced out of his co-main event bout with Tyron Woodley due to a tough weight cut. The former champion was hospitalized and UFC President Dana White made it clear that Hendricks would no longer fight at welterweight and he would be moving him up to 185-pounds.
