Last week, we announced the BFL 37 main event and now the co-main event is set, as middleweight champion Ryan Janes puts his freshly minted title on the line against highly touted prospect Brendan Kornberger.
BFL officials told MMASucka.com on Sunday afternoon.
Janes (7-1) lost in his sophomore outing and has since gone on a six-fight winning streak. Janes made his Battlefield Fight League debut against David Perron for the title in his latest outing. After a back and forth tussle, he secured a rear-naked choke to earn the belt.
Kornberger (5-1) lost his last bout, at WSOF 17 against Krasimir Mladenov in January.
