On Monday, April 3rd, Russia suffered its worst terrorist attack in years.
A bomb detonated inside a train during its transit between two major stations (Tekhnologichesky Institut and Sennaya Ploshchad) in the centre of St. Petersburg. Following the blast, the driver continued to Sennaya station, where other commuters were able to reach the victims inside.
