Heavyweight Ruslan Magomedov has been handed a lifetime ban from the UFC due to multiple anti-doping violations.
USADA delivered the sanction after Magomedov tested positive for two steroid metabolites in an out-of-competition sample collected on Oct. 10. That was the Russian’s second violation. His third occurred when he refused to complete the sample collection process with a doping control officer on Feb. 5. Magomedov’s lifetime suspension began on Nov. 5, 2018, the date he was provisionally suspended.
Magomedov previously tested positive for ostarine, a selective androgen receptor modulator designed to help muscle growth, in September 2016.
