A battle of top-10 women’s flyweights looks to be heading to Las Vegas.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that a matchup between Roxanne Modafferi and Andrea Lee is in the works for the UFC’s event on Sept. 12 in Las Vegas.
Per sources, verbal agreements are in place for the bout with contracts expected to be signed soon.
Modafferi will look to get back in the win column after dropping a unanimous decision to Lauren Murphy at UFC on ESPN 10 in June.
