Rousimar Palhares ‘hated’ grappling loss to Craig Jones: ‘One of the worst matches of my life’

Rousimar Palhares’ bulk figure was not enough to defeat Craig Jones at Kasai Pro 3, on August 18. Although the Brazilian outweighed his opponent by 18 pounds, he was still unable to have his away against Jones, and lost the grappling bout due to an accumulation of penalties.

‘Toquinho’ explained to MMA Fighting that the match was one of the worst ones he’s ever had, especially because the bout ended up being a stalemate for the most part.

“I really hated the match because I didn’t show anything and didn’t let him do anything,” he said.
