The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced on Monday that a lightweight bout between Ross Pearson (17-8, 1 NC) and Evan Dunham (15-6) would be the co-main event of the promotion’s first fight card in Scotland, UFC Fight Night 72.
Pearson is coming off a second-round knockout win over Sam Stout at UFC 185 in March that earned him a Performance of the Night bonus. The Englishman looks forward to fighting close to home.
“I’m always excited to come home and fight in front of my friends and family,” said the 30-year-old Pearson in a statement.
