Rory MacDonald has a problem with broken noses and he isn't sure how to fix it.
The perennial UFC welterweight contender had his nose shattered in a TKO loss to Robbie Lawler last July at UFC 189. His nose broke again in a unanimous decision defeat to Stephen Thompson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 89 on Saturday night in Ottawa.
MacDonald said at the post-fight press conference that it fractured multiple times in training before the fight with Thompson as well. Surgery is a possibility, MacDonald said, but he doesn't know if that will work either.
