Ronda Rousey’s humbling loss to Holly Holm will not prompt a change in training camps for the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion.
In a lengthy interview with ESPN, Rousey revealed that she planned on staying with coach Edmond Tarverdyan, who has been her trainer since “Rowdy” began her mixed martial arts career.
"Of course I'm staying [with Tarverdyan]," Rousey said. "That's my mom's opinion, not mine."
Prior to UFC 193, Rousey’s mother, AnnMaria De Mars, did an interview with LatiNation calling Tarverdyan a “terrible coach,” saying that he “hit the lottery” when her daughter walked into his gym.
