Ronda Rousey Talks Big, Because There’s Nobody To Be Afraid Of

At this stage in Ronda Rousey’s (pictured) already-illustrious career, the biggest question seems to be whether she talks the talk or walks the walk better.

Rousey has no peers, and she knows it. Her stranglehold on the UFC women’s bantamweight division is stronger than any other UFC champion has on their weight class. And it’s not even close.

That’s why Rousey says whatever she wants, because she does exactly what she says inside the cage. She never bites her tongue outside of the octagon because she pulls no punches in it.

That’s why when Rousey claimed on Monday’s UFC 190 conference call that she was going to make opponent Bethe Correia “pay in blood” for her previous comments about suicide, and that she wanted to intentionally prolong Saturday’s fight in order to inflict more punishment on the chatty Correia, nobody in the media batted an eye.
