Ronda Rousey learned a lot from her loss to Holly Holm last year. One of them, she said, was that money is not everything. And maybe not that much at all for her.
The biggest mainstream star MMA has ever known told ESPN The Magazine in an article that published Thursday that she went into the fight with Holm at UFC 193 in November 2015 not as prepared — and more tired and fatigued — than she should have been.
"I was just trying to make too many people happy," Rousey said. "But when I try and do favors and make everybody else happy, at the end of the day, they walk away happy and I'm the one who has to deal with the depression.
