Ronda Rousey suffered a broken right hand, as well as dropped her WWE Raw women’s championship at WrestleMania 35 on Sunday night, in what is expected to be her final World Wrestling Entertainment match at least for some time.
The injury occurred when she was throwing punches at one point during the match and an accident took place.
Rousey signed a three-year deal with WWE that expires on April 10, 2021. In doing so she had promised a full-time one-year commitment to the company that would have ended at last night’s WrestleMania show.
From nearly the start of her run, the idea was for her to win the championship and then drop it at this year’s WrestleMania and then she would take time off.
