If there were any doubts about Ronda Rousey’s availability for a rematch with Holly Holm in July, the ex-bantamweight champ put them to rest on Friday.
TMZ caught up with Rousey outside her California home as she was leaving for the Marine Corps Ball, which she had previously promised to attend. The Olympic judoka confirmed that she is expecting to face Holm at UFC 200.
That’s what I want,” she said. “But it’s up to the UFC and it’s up to her camp, so we’ll see what happens.”
While Holm’s camp has been angling for a fight against Miesha Tate in early 2016, UFC President Dana White recently told the Los Angeles Times that the champion will indeed wait until the summer to face Rousey.
