For the first time, Ronda Rousey has opened a bit about her last loss in the UFC.
The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion spoke candidly about her UFC 207 knockout defeat in December 2016 against Amanda Nunes in a video package that aired on WWE Raw on Monday night. Rousey, now a WWE performer, will make her in-ring debut at next month’s WrestleMania 34.
“I remember my last fight, walking away thinking ‘God hates me.’ I had nothing left in me,” Rousey said.
Rousey said speaking with her husband, UFC heavyweight Travis Browne, is what helped her get out of her post-loss rut.
