Award winning fighter Ronda Rousey explains why she dissed Floyd Mayweather at the ESPY awards.
Ronda Rousey's call out of Floyd Mayweather at the ESPY 2015 awards was a calculated move. The UFC bantamweight women's champ won the 'Best Fighter' award at the ESPY's last week and used her moment in the spotlight to ridicule boxing's modern day legend.
"I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once," Rousey said after she won the award, referring to Mayweather's history of domestic violence.
For 'Rowdy', her jab at Mayweather was bitter sweet; she had been planning to call out the boxing star for over a year, after Floyd claimed he didn't know who Rousey was in an interview with BoxingScene.
