Roger Gracie is officially stepping away from jiu-jitsu, and the legend ended his mat career on a very high note. The 10-time IBJJF world champion showed up at a Gracie Pro event to meet the only other man to win the world championships as many times as him - Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida - and submitted him with a lapel choke at the 6:52 mark of the match.

The two men had met before, at a Metamoris event in 2012. They went to a 20-minute draw that time.

After the match, Gracie announced his retirement from the sport, preferring to concentrate on his MMA career.
