UFC 199 has a pair of championship bouts set, as UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold will look to keep the belt around his waist against Chris Weidman in the main event. In the evening’s co-main event a trilogy fight will go down, as UFC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz takes on bitter rival Urijah Faber.
The two bouts were announced at the UFC “Unstoppable” press conference in Las Vegas.
Rockhold (15-2) is riding a five fight winning streak, including a fourth round TKO victory to capture the 185-pound belt against Weidman at UFC 194. Weidman (13-1) was handed his first career loss to Weidman.
