Upon reclaiming the UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 232, Jon Jones immediately called out Daniel Cormier to come get a taste. “Bones”, however, made it clear that he has no intentions of facing Cormier at heavyweight.
Jones says his hesitation stems from not wanting to destroy Cormier’s legacy, but former middleweight champion Luke Rockhold has his own theories.
“Jones does not want that fight. He doesn’t want a fight with ‘DC’ at Heavyweight,” Rockhold said on Monday’s episode of The MMA Hour (via MMA Mania). “He doesn’t want to give him any confidence.
