Neiman Gracie won’t be the only one from his family hitting up Madison Square Garden this summer.
Officials told MMA Fighting that Robson Gracie, the younger brother of Renzo Gracie, will be competing in a welterweight bout against Oscar Vera on the preliminary portion of Bellator 222 on June 14 in New York City. That same show sees Neiman challenging Rory MacDonald for the welterweight championship in the semifinals of the Bellator Welterweight World Grand Prix.
This will be Gracie’s second bout after making a successful pro debut last December with a second-round submission of Brysen Bolohao at Bellator 212.
