Minneapolis will likely be the place that Robbie Lawler gets another crack at Tyron Woodley. According to ESPN, the former UFC welterweight champions will face off in a headlining bout on a Fight Night show on June 29th. Verbal agreements have been made for the bout, though no contracts have been signed as of yet.
The two men originally met at UFC 201 in 2016, where Woodley stopped Lawler in just over two minutes to claim the 170-pound title from him.
Lawler (28-13, 1 NC, 13-7 UFC) is coming off a controversial submission loss to the debuting Ben Askren at UFC 235 earlier this month.
