Dustin Poirier thought that he might be into some bonus money, having put on a great performance against the Irishman Joseph Duffy during the prelims of UFC 195.
But just like everyone else who watched the main event on Saturday, he realized the Fight of the Night was going to Carlos Condit and Robbie Lawler, who engaged in a five-round, back-and-forth battle at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
"Oh, after that fifth round, I knew it was gone," Poirier said during the post-fight press conference. "I knew it was gone.
