On Road FC 27, Zhang Lipeng got yet another impressive submission win, making it 4 straight since his surprising UFC release.
On Saturday night, Korea-based promotion Road FC hosted a massive event in their first trip to Shanghai, China. Co-headlining their 27-th major event was TUF Winner and local star Zhang Lipeng, who needed less than two minutes to dispatch of Hong Young Gi.
As seen on the clip above, Lipeng quickly took advantage of the taekwondo fighter's reckless offense to take the back and choke him unconscious while standing. The 25-year-old Chinese star, who looked to be much leaner than his days in the Octagon where he went 2-2, won his 4th straight bout since his surprising UFC release.
