Spike TV's Thursday morning tape-delayed ‘Breakfast with Fedor' special failed to reach the inspired viewership that the organization likely hoped for.
According to MMAFighting.com's Dave Meltzer, the Rizin Fighting Federation Day 2 broadcast averaged 156,000 viewers on Spike TV. Naturally, the event peaked to 271,000 viewers during the co-main event between Fedor Emelianenko and Jaideep Singh.
Spike's tape-delayed version of the Rizin broadcast was a near three-hour English broadcast that aired between 10am ET and 12:45pm ET.
Apart from Fedor's return, the broadcast aired highlights of the Grand Prix tournament, which was eventually won by Muhammed Lawal.
