Paige VanZant wanted a new UFC contract, and the strawweight star didn’t have to wait long to have her wish fulfilled.

“12 Gauge” took to Twitter on Thursday to announce that she has signed a new contract with the Las Vegas-based promotion and that her next opponent was “lined up.” The news comes just one day after UFC Tonight reported that VanZant was awaiting a new deal before agreeing to her next fight in the Octagon.
