Yet another fighter was forced to withdraw from a bout due to COVID-19. Per MMA Junkie’s John Morgan, later confirmed by Nolan King, bantamweight Ricardo Ramos had to leave his contest against Bill Algeo, scheduled to take place this coming Saturday at UFC Vegas 24.
No replacement will be booked and Algeo has been removed from the card. MMA Fighting also confirmed that Ramos tested positive for the virus.
In his last outing, Ricardo Ramos (14-3) got TKO’d in the first round by Lerone Murphy, back in July 2020.
