In a historic night for AXS TV FIGHTS, the network’s first ever co-promoted event featured top fighters from Resurrection Fighting Alliance and Legacy Fighting Championship going head-to-head, two promotional title fights, and culminated in flyweight superfight between RFA Champion Alexandre Pantoja (16-2) and Legacy Champion Damacio Page (19-10). In the closing seconds of round two, Pantoja captured Page in a triangle choke, winning by technical submission and claiming the flyweight superfight belt. At the end of the night, RFA won three out of the four fights against Legacy fighters.
In the two co-main events, Luke Sanders (10-0) successfully defended his RFA bantamweight belt, defeating RFA challenger Terrion Ware (13-4) by unanimous decision; while Legacy contender Mike Bronzoulis (18-8-1) defeated fellow Legacy fighter Dave Burrow (13-6) via unanimous decision to claim the promotion’s vacant lightweight title.
