The Errol Spence Jr. vs. Mikey Garcia PPV kicked off on FS1 with a Heavyweight prelim fight, and it was a weird one. In the end, Charles Martin walked away with the rare disqualification win over Gregory Corbin after suffering through a barrage of low blows.
Corbin was striking low early in the fight and received mutiple warnings. In the 4th round, he was officially deducted a point for the low blow, and then again in the 5th. He was soon deducted a 3rd, which often times results in a DQ, but the referee let it continue. In the 8th round, yet another low blow caused the ref to stop the fight and DQ Corbin.
